Arne Slot Takes Aim at Nottingham Forest as Liverpool Title Race Heats Up

Nottingham: Arne Slot had some nice things to say about Nuno Espirito Santo and Nottingham Forest before their big match this week. Liverpool is just six points ahead of Forest in the standings, and it’s impressive that Forest has already hit 40 points after 20 games. Slot thinks they should be seen as title contenders.

But he also threw a little shade at Forest, pointing out that their rise isn’t too shocking given how much they’ve spent since coming back to the Premier League. They’ve shelled out around $263 million and brought in 21 new players after their promotion.

He praised Nuno for the great job he’s doing and said that if Forest is competing with the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City, they deserve respect. Slot knows it’s going to be a tough match and is ready for the challenge.
