Ben Affleck was seen arguing with police outside his home after the FBI visited him regarding unauthorized drone activity
Brentwood: So, Ben Affleck was spotted having a pretty intense chat with the cops outside his house. This all went down just two days after the FBI dropped by for a visit.
The photos show him leaning out of his BMW, talking to two officers in a cruiser. He looked really animated, even pointing at something while he was talking.
We don’t know exactly what he said, but a spokesperson from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office mentioned it was about the FBI’s visit from Sunday.
Apparently, the deputies were there to help with a search for unauthorized drones in the area. The FBI had been checking in on drone activity near his home, which is linked to an ongoing investigation.
They were looking into a private drone that caused some damage to a firefighting aircraft. A source said they wanted to see if Ben had any CCTV footage of the incident.
Earlier this week, there were reports of unauthorized drones flying around near his place. It’s a bit of a mess, really.
As of now, Ben hasn’t been arrested or charged with anything. His rep hasn’t commented yet either.
This whole situation comes after he had to evacuate his rental home due to the terrible wildfires in Los Angeles that have caused a lot of destruction.
He even stayed with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, for a bit. They share three kids, so it makes sense he’d want to be close to family.
Interestingly, his most recent ex, Jennifer Lopez, has been checking in on him and the kids, worried about their well-being.
Ben returned home the day after the evacuation, feeling grateful that his property was safe, but he’s seen a lot of devastation around him and is reaching out to help where he can.
