Denver: So, the Broncos really nailed that fake punt. It was a slick move, but sadly, it didn’t lead to any points. Coach Sean Payton decided to get creative early in the second quarter during their wild-card game against the Bills. They were down by three and faced a fourth-and-8 from their own 43-yard line.

Punter Riley Dixon faked a punt, then tossed it to Marvin Mims Jr., who was wide open for a 15-yard gain. It was a great play! But here’s the kicker: they couldn’t do anything with it afterward. They ended up punting again just four plays later.

The game started off strong for Denver. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix connected with Troy Franklin for a 43-yard touchdown on their first drive, putting them up 7-0. But the Bills turned things around, taking a 10-7 lead into halftime after controlling the ball and limiting the Broncos’ offense.

Right before halftime, kicker Wil Lutz had a chance to tie it up with a 50-yard field goal, but he hit the upright, and it fell short. The Bills managed to score with a field goal and a touchdown, leaving the Broncos in a tough spot.
