Tupelo: A busy day for local law enforcement with several arrests and theft reports. The Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail saw multiple bookings for felony charges.

Scotty R. Birmingham, 53, was nabbed for having a Schedule II drug. Kevin Dale Crenshaw, 34, was caught selling meth. Reginald S. Cruse, 44, also faced charges for possessing a Schedule II drug.

Sondra Estes, 46, was arrested for violating probation, while Russell Edwin Jenkins, 46, had a long list of charges, including possession of a Schedule II drug and driving with a suspended license.

Jeffrey Scott Kelly, 44, was caught with meth and had some insurance issues. Heather McIntosh, 42, was charged with grand larceny, and Quitman A. Tompkins, 33, faced serious charges for assaulting a minor.

On the theft front, a man on County Road 931 found his work truck missing, which was tracked down to a nearby address. The thief made off with a rifle and some tools.

In another incident, a woman on County Road 183 reported her landlord took money off her rent, leading to a confrontation with her neighbor.

A woman on County Road 1200 spotted a suspicious man at Walgreens, and a man on County Road 1057 had a verbal spat with friends but didn’t want to file a report.

There were also reports of a strange car lingering in driveways and some rowdy folks doing donuts in yards.
