Chamblee: Ed Reed, the Pro Football Hall of Famer and former Ravens star, is now the offensive coordinator at Chamblee High School. He shared the news on social media, and it’s a big deal for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs haven’t had the best track record in Atlanta, but they’ve got some exciting connections. Jamal Lewis, another Ravens legend, has a son, Jazz, who plays receiver for the team. Jazz is already making waves, having received a scholarship offer from the University of Memphis.

Both Reed and Lewis have sons on the team. Edward Reed, Ed’s son, plays receiver and defensive back, while Jazz is a freshman receiver. They’re expected to make a real impact in the upcoming seasons.

Last season, the Bulldogs struggled, finishing with a 2-9 record. But Lewis believes bringing Reed on board is a smart move. He told The Atlanta Voice that they need someone like Reed to help get the ball moving.

Chamblee’s coaching staff is small, with only six coaches compared to other programs that have nearly double that. Lewis thinks Reed will simplify things and make the most of their players’ talents.

Along with Jazz and Edward, the Bulldogs have a promising freshman quarterback, Brayden Doss, who transferred midseason. Lewis is optimistic about Doss’s potential and how he can elevate the team.

Reed will also work with rising junior running back Isaiah Cowan during the off-season, which should help strengthen the team even more. It’s an exciting time for Chamblee High School football!
