A former bodyguard claims Diddy acted suspiciously before Biggie’s murder, raising questions in a new documentary.

Los Angeles: The Notorious B.I.G.’s murder remains a mystery even after 28 years. A new documentary, “Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy,” dives into the rumors surrounding Diddy’s possible involvement in the drive-by shooting that took Biggie’s life on March 9, 1997.
Gene Deal, a former bodyguard for Diddy, shares his thoughts in the doc. He suggests that Diddy could have had a role in the tragic event. Deal worked for Diddy from 1991 to 2005 and was with him the night Biggie was killed after a party.
He recalls Diddy acting anxious in the days leading up to the murder. Biggie had plans to go to London, but Diddy insisted he wouldn’t go. Deal felt uneasy about attending the Vibe party, especially after the East Coast-West Coast rap rivalry had escalated following Tupac’s murder.
Despite his concerns, they went to the party. Deal was in one car with Diddy while Biggie was in another. Suddenly, gunfire erupted. Deal remembers feeling devastated, knowing Biggie had been shot.
After the shooting, they rushed Biggie to the hospital. Deal recalls the heartbreaking moment when he had to tell Diddy that Biggie didn’t make it. Diddy was in shock, unable to process the loss.
The documentary features interviews with those close to Diddy, but he has always denied any involvement in the murders of Biggie and Tupac. Diddy’s lawyers have also dismissed the allegations made in the film.
The executive producer of the documentary mentioned that while they didn’t claim these events were true, something felt off, hinting that there might be more to the story.
