Kamala Harris and Doug Emhoff explore a potential second home in NYC post-election

New York City: Doug Emhoff was spotted checking out a luxury condo last week. It’s not the White House, but it’s close to the Park.
Word is Kamala Harris is thinking about life after her election loss. Emhoff toured a three-bedroom place at Park Loggia, which costs $20,000 a month. Sounds fancy, right?
He rolled up to the Lincoln Center building with a bunch of SUVs and Secret Service agents. No word yet if they’ll actually take the apartment.
Some folks say they might want to be bicoastal. While they plan to keep their base in Los Angeles, Emhoff is checking out homes in the Big Apple for them.
Harris’s daughter, Ella, lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn, so it makes sense they’d want a spot nearby. The New York Times mentioned that Harris is leaving office without a clear plan for her next steps.
Her friends say it’s too soon to figure out what’s next, but at 60, she’ll have plenty of options. With their LA home in a fire evacuation zone, a second home in NYC could be a smart move.
A rep for Harris didn’t comment on the situation.
