Keke Palmer’s playful banter on Today left Jenna Bush Hager puzzled about the term “gagged” during a fun segment.
New York: Keke Palmer brought some fun to the Today Show when she guest-hosted with Jenna Bush Hager. During the show, Palmer was excited to learn that Bush Hager was a clue on Pop Culture Jeopardy!
Palmer playfully asked, “Were you gagged?” which left Bush Hager a bit confused. She asked if being “gagged” was a good thing. Once they confirmed it was, Bush Hager admitted she felt both gagged and a little embarrassed.
They shared a clip from the show, where the clue mentioned Bush Hager celebrating 1 million followers with a thirst trap. Palmer was all about it, saying, “Yes, girl! I need to see the pictures.”
They showed a clip of Bush Hager posing dramatically with a book while Hoda Kotb aimed a blow dryer at her. Palmer was impressed, saying, “Oh my gosh, yes honey, it’s the legs.”
Bush Hager, a mom of three, laughed and mentioned she was reading a book called The School for Good Mothers. She joked about trying to look like a “naughty librarian.”
Later, Ben Stiller joined the fun, chatting with Palmer about his role in SZA’s music video. He mentioned he likes to “ghost ride the whip,” which got everyone laughing.
