Kelly Ripa expressed concern for Mark Consuelos during his upcoming game in Philly, asking her father to keep him safe from rowdy Eagles fans.

Philadelphia: So, Mark Consuelos is feeling a bit down since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers aren’t making the playoffs. But hey, at least he won’t have to face those crazy Eagles fans!
This morning on Live with Kelly and Mark, Mark was bummed about the Bucs’ loss to the Washington Commanders. Kelly shared a funny moment from her daily chat with her dad, who had some strong words about the game.
She said, “The phone didn’t even ring. He picked it up right away, mid-sentence, saying, ‘Tell ‘em they stink.’” Mark joked that he knows where to find empathy, and it’s definitely not from Joe Ripa.
Despite the loss, Mark kept his chin up, congratulating the Commanders and appreciating the five weeks of playoff games he got to enjoy. “Last night was my sixth, and I’m happy,” he said.
Kelly cheered him on, and Mark praised quarterback Baker Mayfield, thanking the Bucs for a fun football season. They even got some cute dog shirts from the team, but Kelly, being an Eagles fan, admitted it’s tough for her to wear them.
After the Eagles’ big win against the Packers, Mark declared he’s rooting for them for the rest of the season. Kelly joked about setting up a phone line for people to vote for the Eagles.
Mark laughed, saying if the Bucs had won, they’d be heading to Philly this weekend. “Guess I dodged a trip to Philly and those nice fans,” he quipped.
Kelly, who’s from South Jersey, added, “It always scares me to death when my husband goes to a Bucs game in Philadelphia. I tell my dad, who’s in his eighties, ‘Please protect him.’”
