Duke’s Kon Knueppel scored 25 points, leading his team to a decisive win over Miami, keeping their perfect conference record intact.

Khaman Maluach also had a solid game with 12 points and 15 rebounds. The Blue Devils shot an impressive 54.8%, making 17 of 32 3-pointers. They led by 24 at halftime and never looked back.
Cooper Flagg, who was just named the AP men’s college basketball national player of the week, added 13 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Lynn Kidd led the Hurricanes with 20 points, but it wasn’t enough.
Miami is really struggling this season, losing six straight games and 13 of their last 14. Their coach, Jim Larrañaga, stepped down after Christmas, which hasn’t helped.
Duke, on the other hand, is on a roll with 11 straight wins, including five league victories by 20 points or more. The game turned early when Knueppel and Mason Gillis hit back-to-back 3s, forcing Miami’s interim coach to call a timeout.
Duke then went on a 14-0 run, leaving Miami in the dust. They assisted on 17 of their 19 baskets in the first half, averaging an impressive 1.563 points per possession.
Next up, Miami will host SMU on Saturday, hoping to turn their luck around.
