Wicker Park: A popular vintage shop is making a move! Lost Girls Vintage is shifting its original spot about half a mile north to Wicker Park. They’re reopening this Saturday at 1935 W. Division St., in a space that used to be Mr. Dave Music.

The store first opened in 2019 at 1947 W. Chicago Ave. Co-owners Sarah Azzouzi and Kyla Embrey also have a location in Logan Square. They got familiar with the new spot a few years back when they hosted pop-ups there after a pipe burst at their original location and during local street festivals. When they got the chance to take over the lease last year, they jumped at it.

Azzouzi mentioned how much they loved the bright, sunny corner space. They had always dreamed of having a storefront like this. Mr. Dave Music will still host classes and events, while the old Lost Girls spot is now part of a pop-up shop program by the West Town Chamber of Commerce.

So far, the move has been smooth sailing. To celebrate the opening, Lost Girls will give away free tote bags to the first 20 customers and offer hot cocoa and more. The new Wicker Park location will focus on clothing, hats, and other apparel, while also stocking some home goods.

They’re reaching out to local designers to bring in fresh items. The inventory will be more formal than what’s available at their Logan Square shop, featuring pieces dating back to the 1930s, including rare accessories and vintage designer items.

They’re also bringing back some contemporary lines that fit well with their vintage vibe, like Room Shop, known for its stylish bags and hair accessories. Azzouzi and Embrey are excited to introduce more modern, sustainable fashion that complements their vintage aesthetic.

Wicker Park has seen a surge of new vintage stores lately, alongside established favorites like Kokorokoko and Store B. Azzouzi is thrilled to start this new chapter, especially with the support from their loyal customers.

She expressed gratitude for the community’s backing, especially during the busy holiday season. The new Lost Girls location will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
