The Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is set to review a proposal for 260 Clinton Avenue, a four-story residential building in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Assembled by Sa-Da Architecture, the proposal calls for changes intended to update the three-unit structure while maintaining its historic characteristics. The property is located between Willoughby and DeKalb Avenues, on the St. Joseph’s University Brooklyn Campus.

According to the submitted materials, proposed changes focus in large part on the building’s entrance. Plans outline the creation of a new front stoop with stucco color-matched to the building’s façade. Due to the addition of the stoop, the front door would need to be raised to match the new entrance elevation.

The proposal provides historical photographs of the property with a stoop, signifying that changes would be aligned with the historical design of the property.

Transit nearby 260 Clinton Avenue includes the Clinton-Washington Avenue subway station, which is served by the G train.

The LPC is set to review the proposal on February 25.
