Melania Trump asserts her independence, sharing her views on marriage and motherhood in a recent interview.

Washington D.C.: Melania Trump is making it clear that she’s her own person. In a recent chat, she pushed back against critics who see her just as the president’s wife. She wants everyone to know she’s independent and has her own opinions.
She said, “I don’t always agree with my husband, and that’s okay.” Melania, who was born in Slovenia, isn’t shy about sharing her thoughts with Donald Trump, whether he takes her advice or not.
During her interview on “Fox and Friends,” she mentioned her support for abortion rights, which is a different stance from her husband’s views. Melania plans to move to the White House soon but will also spend time at Trump properties in Palm Beach and New York.
She dismissed rumors that she would mostly stay in Manhattan, where their son Barron is studying. “Being a mom, a first lady, and a wife is my top priority,” she said, adding that she’s ready to serve the country once they settle in.
Having been first lady before, Melania feels confident about taking on a bigger role this time. She’s excited to expand her Be Best initiative, focusing on children and mental health, which she believes needs more attention.
Melania is also promoting her memoir and has a documentary in the works, with Amazon reportedly paying $40 million for the rights. This move seems to be part of a strategy to mend ties with Trump as he returns to the political scene.
