Washington D.C.: So, remember when Trump got inaugurated back in 2017? Metro didn’t make a special SmarTrip card for him like they did for Obama. They said it was because they couldn’t get a photo from his campaign. Instead, they just put out a regular card and later a sleeve with his face on it.

Then, when Biden took office, it was even worse. No special card at all! They said they weren’t encouraging travel due to Covid and the lack of public events.

But this time around, Trump supporters are in luck! Metro is rolling out a flashy new SmarTrip card that says, “The Inauguration of Donald J. Trump: 45th and 47th President of the United States.” You can grab one at select stations starting Wednesday.

Some of the stations where you can find this card include Ashburn, Franconia-Springfield, and Union Station, among others. It’s a fun way for fans to celebrate the occasion!
