Napoli has been advised against pursuing Alejandro Garnacho, with Liverpool’s Federico Chiesa suggested as a better option for the Serie A leaders

Man United is in the thick of a busy January transfer window. They’re trying to bring in new players to help Ruben Amorim’s squad, but they also need to let some go to meet those Profit and Sustainability Rules.
No one is safe from being sold, even Garnacho, who was once seen as untouchable under Erik ten Hag. But now, with new management, he’s not in the best books and is reportedly Napoli’s top target this month.
Walter Sabatini, a former sporting director for big Italian clubs, warned Napoli about Garnacho. He said the young talent is strong but inconsistent and lacks a clear role. He thinks Chiesa would be a much better choice, praising his speed and skills.
Meanwhile, Liverpool is looking to snag Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, a player linked to Man United. With Liverpool’s sporting director having connections from his time at Bournemouth, they seem to have the upper hand in this race. Even though Bournemouth isn’t keen on selling right now, a £50m deal could be on the table for the summer, putting Liverpool ahead of both Man United and Man City.
