Patrick and Brittany Mahomes welcomed their daughter Golden Raye during the Chiefs’ bye week, adding joy to their family.

The couple just announced the birth of their third child, a daughter named Golden Raye. She was born on Sunday, right as the Chiefs were gearing up for their next playoff game.
With the Chiefs holding the top seed, they had the weekend off, which was perfect timing for the Mahomes family. They’re set to face the Houston Texans on Saturday, a rematch from last month.
Patrick and Brittany already have two kids: a 3-year-old daughter named Sterling and a 2-year-old son named Bronze.
Patrick has always wanted to have kids young, inspired by his own childhood experiences in the locker room with his dad, who was a big-league pitcher. He shared that he and Brittany were excited to welcome another girl into their family.
The couple has been together since high school. Patrick played at Texas Tech before the Chiefs drafted him in 2017, while Brittany played soccer at the University of Texas-Tyler and even went pro in Iceland. They tied the knot in Hawaii in March 2022.
As for more kids? Patrick joked last July that he’s done after three. “I did three and I’m done,” he said with a smile.
