Paulina Porizkova shares her journey of self-acceptance after gaining weight post-surgery, celebrating her new body and life.

She was so focused on enjoying life—free from chronic pain and spending time with her boyfriend, Jeff Greenstein—that she didn’t even notice the weight gain. It wasn’t until her first modeling job back in Paris that she realized she didn’t fit into her clothes anymore.
At first, she felt pretty awful about it. She tried to lose the weight through diet and exercise but hit a wall after menopause. Despite her efforts, the scale wouldn’t budge.
Eventually, she learned to appreciate her body as it is now. She mentioned that her boyfriend helped her see the positives. “Two months later, I’m still the same weight, but my butt feels firmer,” she said.
Porizkova finds comfort in her new softness, especially compared to the pain she felt a year ago. She joked about her current challenges: “No jobs and nothing to wear.”
She underwent a double hip replacement due to congenital hip dysplasia, which can lead to serious issues like osteoarthritis. Now, she’s embracing her body and the life she’s built.
