Pep Guardiola remains uncertain about Kyle Walker’s future at Man City after the defender’s transfer request ahead of the January window

Last week, Walker spoke to the sporting director about wanting to move in January. There’s interest from clubs in Italy and Saudi Arabia. City is open to letting him go, but only if the offer is right since he’s under contract until next summer.
Guardiola didn’t have much to say about where Walker might end up. He hinted that if Walker trains well, he could still join the squad for the match on Tuesday night.
Pep mentioned, “We’ll decide after training. I said what I said and I’m not going to add anything else.” He’s focused on the upcoming game against Brentford, who have been tough opponents lately.
Brentford almost snagged a win at the Etihad back in September, so Pep knows they can be dangerous. He praised their manager, Thomas Frank, for the solid work he’s done over the years. Pep said, “They are aggressive and compact, and their transitions are really dangerous.”
