Elizabethtown: A 20-year-old guy named Terrance Corbin is in big trouble. He’s facing murder charges after an 18-month-old girl he was babysitting died.

It all went down when he was watching the little girl and her 3-year-old sibling. A few hours later, he called the girl’s mom, saying she wasn’t breathing right. That’s when things got serious.

First responders rushed in, but sadly, the girl was already in bad shape. They took her to Baptist Health Hardin, then airlifted her to Norton Children’s in Louisville. She ended up in intensive care.

Doctors found multiple skull fractures and serious swelling. It was so severe that she needed a blood transfusion. The injuries were extensive, and a child abuse expert said they were the worst she had ever seen. Tragically, the girl passed away a couple of days later.

Corbin is now behind bars at Hardin County Detention Center with a hefty bond of $500,000. He’s set to appear in court soon. This whole situation is just heartbreaking.
