For 2025, there are already five launches scheduled, including four from Cape Canaveral and one from Kennedy Space Center. SpaceX is set to handle all five of these missions, showcasing their Falcon 9 rockets.

In 2024, the Space Coast saw 93 launches, with SpaceX dominating the scene with 88 of those missions. The year also included five human spaceflights, which is pretty impressive!

Looking back at 2023, there were 72 launches, with SpaceX again leading the pack. They had 68 missions, while United Launch Alliance contributed three. There were also three human spaceflights that year.

As for the upcoming launches in 2025, the first one is on January 10, with SpaceX Falcon 9 launching the Starlink 12-12 mission. It’s set to take off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

On January 13, another Falcon 9 will launch the Starlink 12-4 mission, sending 21 Starlink satellites into orbit. This one is also from Cape Canaveral.

There’s a lot more planned, including the first launch of Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket, which has been delayed but is highly anticipated. This mission will be crucial for certification flights required by the Space Force.

Mark your calendars for January 15, when SpaceX Falcon 9 will launch from Kennedy Space Center, carrying a moon lander and a Japanese lunar lander.
