A new immersive dining experience called Sublimotion is proposed for downtown Las Vegas, featuring a unique blend of food and technology.
Las Vegas: A new restaurant called Sublimotion is in the works for downtown. It’s a 7,400-square-foot spot with a tiny 12-seat dining room, but it’s got a lot more going on.
They’re planning two dressing rooms, two experience rooms, and five bathrooms. The City of Las Vegas Planning Commission will look at the application for full alcohol service soon.
Staff are backing the project, which will be located at 1421 S. Commerce St. in the Arts District. The plans include a bar, lounge, and a commercial kitchen, plus some cool murals on the outside.
Sublimotion promises an immersive dining experience. They say it’s all about combining great food with stunning visuals and tech. It’s like turning the dining table into a stage where you’re the star of the show.
They’ll have Michelin Star Chefs whipping up multi-course meals for just 12 guests each night, complete with visual and auditory elements to enhance the experience.
The site has a bit of history, covering four addresses on South Commerce Street. Sublimotion will take over a former vehicle repair shop, while the other buildings will stay as they are.
This area has seen all sorts of businesses over the years, from electricians to a bicycle shop. There was even a plan for a bar, but that never got off the ground.
It’s not clear if this Sublimotion is linked to the one in Ibiza, Spain, known for its unique dining experience with amazing lighting and projections.
