Sunny Hostin is calling for an apology from an insurance company after they sued her husband for alleged fraud

Last week, they brought in lawyer Mark Geragos, and now Sunny is speaking out. She says the lawsuit is frivolous and a media smear campaign against her family. In her statement, she mentioned that the company is trying to avoid paying for the care of people in pain.
Geragos even sent a letter threatening to countersue for $5 million if they don’t drop the case and apologize. Sunny pointed out that this amount could go up due to the reputational damage caused by the lawsuit. She feels the company is using her fame from “The View” to attack her family.
Sunny also accused American Transit of harassing them and said they won’t be intimidated. She’s standing strong, saying they remain unbowed despite the pressure. The Bronx native, 56, called out the company for its tactics, claiming they’re on the brink of bankruptcy.
Her husband is one of 200 doctors named in the lawsuit, which alleges they provided fraudulent medical services. Sunny made it clear that American Transit will face consequences for their actions, using a cheeky phrase to emphasize her point. Meanwhile, the lawyer for American Transit defended their actions, stating they’re just doing their job to combat fraud in New York.
