Denver: The Broncos had a tough 31-7 loss to the Bills in the wild-card round, but they still made a comeback this season. With a 10-7 record, they reached the playoffs for the first time since 2015. Bo Nix has stepped up as the franchise quarterback, fitting in well with head coach Sean Payton.

Now, the team has some big decisions to make. One hot topic is whether they’ll extend Courtland Sutton’s contract. He’s set to be a free agent in 2026 and had a solid season with 81 catches for over 1,000 yards and eight touchdowns. After a slow start, he really turned it around, becoming Nix’s main target.

But will the Broncos keep him? Sutton’s age and past inconsistencies might be a concern. They could also look to draft a new wide receiver or snag someone in free agency. Last year, Sutton had contract issues, so it’s likely he’ll be in talks again.

Another player in question is D.J. Jones, who just finished his three-year deal. He’s expressed a desire to stay in Denver, saying they’ve built a good culture. He had a strong season, but with his contract up, it’s uncertain what will happen next.

Coaching changes could also be on the horizon. Payton mentioned that some coaches might leave for better opportunities. Defensive coordinator Vance Joseph is already in talks for head coaching positions, and other staff members are being considered for promotions elsewhere.

As for the draft, the Broncos have plenty of options. With the 20th pick, they might go for a tight end, wide receiver, or running back to support Nix. Players like Tyler Warren and Ashton Jeanty are potential targets. They could also strengthen their defense with some key picks.

Owner Greg Penner has high hopes for next season, aiming for a division title. The Broncos showed promise this year, but they still have a long way to go to compete with top teams like the Chiefs. The offseason will be crucial for closing that gap.
