A TikToker’s visit to Trafford Centre leaves him amazed, likening it to Dubai’s grandeur and sparking a viral reaction online.
In his two-minute video, he was blown away by the mall’s architecture and size. He humorously questioned why such a shopping center exists in Manchester and not in London.
He felt ‘bewildered’ by the interior, saying it reminded him of Dubai. He joked that it looked like ‘Tutankhamun’s lair’ and wondered why London doesn’t have anything like it.
While sitting on a second-floor bench, he felt like royalty, looking down at everyone else. He even admired a waterfall, calling it unusual.
He checked out Toys ‘R’ Us and Selfridges but decided to leave before he started spending too much. The Trafford Centre’s official TikTok account joined in the fun, saying, “WE’VE BEEN FOUND.”
Comments flooded in, with one user saying the center has no right to be so impressive, especially with its cruise-themed food court and a waterpark being built nearby.
Another follower declared it the best shopping center in England, while some locals complained about the traffic during peak times.
The Trafford Centre opened 26 years ago and was once the largest in the UK. Its design is inspired by Rococo and Baroque architecture, making it more than just a shopping spot; it’s a social hub with Europe’s biggest food court.
