New York: So, President-elect Donald Trump made it clear on Wednesday that he’s not looking to hire anyone who’s worked for his Republican critics, like Mike Pence and Nikki Haley. He took to Truth Social to share that he’s already brought on over 1,000 people for his new administration, but he’s got some specific folks he doesn’t want.

He said it would save everyone time if people didn’t recommend anyone associated with those he calls “disloyal” or suffering from what he calls Trump Derangement Syndrome. He even threw in some colorful nicknames for his critics, like “Dumb as a Rock” John Bolton and “Birdbrain” Nikki Haley.

Haley and Pence both ran against Trump in the 2024 primaries but didn’t have much luck. Pence didn’t endorse Trump when he became the GOP nominee, and Haley took her sweet time before backing him.

Interestingly, Americans for Prosperity Action, a super PAC backed by Charles Koch, had endorsed Haley during the primaries. Meanwhile, both Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz have been vocal in their opposition to Trump, even endorsing Kamala Harris.

As for other critics, folks like Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have also made it clear they won’t be voting for Trump. With all this drama, Trump is set to be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on Monday.
