A Tuscaloosa man is facing serious charges related to child sexual abuse after an investigation by local authorities

Lewis is facing multiple charges, including two counts of second-degree rape and other serious offenses related to minors. Right now, he’s being held without bond at the Tuscaloosa County Jail.
Interestingly, this isn’t his first run-in with the law. He was previously arrested in 2024 for similar issues. Back in August, he was one of eight men caught in a sting operation where they were chatting with an undercover officer posing as a teenage girl.
After that operation, he was charged with traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sex act. His cases are still pending in court.
What’s even more alarming is that while out on bond, he allegedly met with a minor for sex multiple times. Capt. Phil Simpson from the task force emphasized how crucial these investigations are, highlighting that suspects often target real victims in the community.
