Liverpool’s historic FA Cup XI from 2017 has seen varied career paths since

Fast forward seven years, and it’s interesting to see where those players ended up. Loris Karius, who had a rough time at Liverpool, is currently without a club after stints at Newcastle and other teams. Trent Alexander-Arnold, on the other hand, has become one of the best right-backs in the game, racking up appearances and even captaining the team recently.
Joe Gomez is still with Liverpool but is currently injured. Lucas Leiva, who played center-back that day, retired in 2023 after a solid career in Italy and Brazil. Alberto Moreno, once a regular, is now playing in Italy after leaving Liverpool a few years back.
Kevin Stewart didn’t quite make the cut and has since retired after playing for a few clubs. Emre Can is thriving at Borussia Dortmund and still represents Germany. Ovie Ejaria and Sheyi Ojo have had their ups and downs, with Ojo now in Slovenia after a series of loans.
Ben Woodburn, once the youngest scorer for Liverpool, is now at Salford City. And then there’s Divock Origi, a fan favorite, who’s currently at AC Milan but hasn’t seen much action lately. It’s wild to see how different their paths have been since that historic match against Plymouth.
