Brooklyn: The construction at 655 Union Street is finally wrapping up. This 13-story building is set to offer 193 rental units, with a mix of one- and two-bedroom layouts. Plus, there’s 14,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. Out of those units, 50 will be affordable housing, which is great for the community.

The building has a sleek charcoal façade, and the upper levels have some cool stepped tiers. It’s got a modern look with big glass windows on the ground floor for the retail spots. They’re just finishing up some minor details around the sidewalks and retail areas.

Inside, the apartments are pretty nice. They come with Italian porcelain tiles, marble countertops, and even in-unit washers and dryers. Some lucky residents will have wraparound terraces to enjoy.

As for amenities, there’s a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool, lounge areas, and grilling spots. There’s also a gym, a wellness studio, and a playroom for kids. Plus, it’s right next to the Union Street subway station, making it super convenient for commuters.

YIMBY expects everything to be fully completed in just a few weeks, so keep an eye out for the grand opening!
